Delete account
Permanently remove your VerTrek account and associated data.
Fastest path: delete in the app
If you can still sign in to VerTrek, the in-app flow is instant:
Open the app → tap the avatar in the top right → Profile → scroll to Delete account → confirm.
Can't sign in?
Submit the form below and we'll verify and delete your account within 7 days. We'll email you when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email + password in AWS Cognito)
- Your profile (name, date of birth, phone number, home airport)
- Your booking history records in our database
- Your push notification token
What doesn't get deleted
- Bookings already issued by airlines or hotels. Those records live in the provider's system per their retention policy. We cannot delete them for you. Contact the airline or hotel directly if needed.
- Anonymized aggregate data. "1 trip to Lisbon in June 2026" may remain in our analytics, but cannot be linked back to you.
- Legal-hold records. If we're legally required to retain records (e.g. for fraud or tax reasons), we'll keep those for the required period.
